He has participated in group and solo exhibitions home and abroad, receiving numerous awards for his work, including a recognition award for artistic achievement from the University of Ljubljana in 2008. He is nationally acclaimed as a superb creator of plastic art portraits, working mainly in marble, granite and wood, but often also experimenting with other art techniques, which he uses to build a particular composition of thematically radical messages. Frlic lives and works in a former school building, rearranged as a studio, in Malenski vrh under the Blegoš Hill in the Poljanska dolina Valley.
