Short Video Workshop

in collaboration with the School Center Ptuj, Secondary School for Electro-technology and Computer Sciences
Thursday, 10. 11. 2016 10:00—14:00
Friday, 11. 10. 2016 10:00—14:00
Mentor: Franc Vrbančič

The theme of the workshop connects art, science, and technology. With the help of available technologies - smart phones, tablets, and other devices, everyone can become an author, camera operator, and director of a short movie. The technology, indeed, is a necessary and widely accesible, but not sufficient criterion for an esthetic, socially and legally acceptable film. This will be one of the topics discussed at the festival, where we will demonstrate an example of making a short movie. Visitors will be actively involved in the entire process.

Key words: movie/film, video, new media
